Handmade by Kirsty Gadd in the Cotswolds

Where Modernism meets the Cotswolds; beautiful contemporary homewares and gifts made with natural and luxurious materials.

Kirsty Gadd Textiles was created after labouring a love of textiles for over two decades and fantastic career in product, interiors and fashion with some of the most inspirational fashion and homeware brands. At the age of 6 I was given my first sewing machine and a love was founded for all things textiles and fabric- I've never looked back gaining a degree in Textile Design in 2006 from Birmingham Institute of Art & Design, then followed a fabulously rewarding career at design institutions Habitat, Laura Ashley and Clarks. In 2014 I felt the time was right to make my own creative mark and follow a life long dream.

My inspiration comes from many sources; I'm a country girl, having grown up in rural Somerset I love all things countryside- picturesque landscapes, wildlife and all things natural, especially natural fabrics. My second love is for all things modernist; clean lines and shapes, and thoughtful functional design that inspires it's form. Modernist architecture has played a big part of my designs in the past.

I'm based in a lovely sunlit Cotswold stone building on the outskirts of Cirencester, the capital of the picturesque Cotswolds, where many of my pieces are lovingly crafted. I've also carefully selected some amazing products to sit alongside my wares. I hope you enjoy browsing my website!
